Obituary of J.R. Seagroves Jr.
Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Wiley Andrew Seagroves Jr., 66, passed away Wednesday March 8, 2023 at his home. He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on July 30, 1956, to Wiley Andrew Seagroves Sr. and Susie Bell Fults Seagroves who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Connie Louise Hoosier and Oma Lee Seagroves; nephew, Scotty Hoosier.
He was a truck driver and was attending New Life Ministry Church services at his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Makayla Powers; grandchildren, Everleigh and Kalia Conaway; mother of his daughter, Denise Powers; niece, Andrea (Lee) West; nephews, Drew, Randy and Adrian; uncle, William and Carolyn Fults; aunt Betty Ann Fults; special cousin Louise (Gary) King; beloved pets, Bella & Pablo; a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Friday March 17, 2023, in the funeral home chapel with Dave Huntley officiating.
Visitation: 12:00 Noon – 6:00 PM Friday March 17, 2023 at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
