Obituary of Danny Ray Layne
Palmer, Tennessee – Mr. Danny Ray Layne, 67, passed away Thursday December 15, 2022, at the Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga. He was born in Cumberland Heights, Tennessee on September 21, 1955, to Franklin Layne Jr. and Gladys Marie Layne Phillips who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Pickett Layne;son, Danny Ray (Nora) Layne Jr., Panama City, Florida; daughter, Shasta Layne, Panama City, Florida; step-daughter, Jessica Lauren (Kevin) Smith; brothers, Bobby (Gail) Nunley and Bartley Nolan; sister, Carolyn (Joey) Rollins; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Delbert Layne and Stacey Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.
Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
