Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mr. Steve Dwight Layman , 60, passed away Sunday January 8, 2023 at The STRHS-Sewanee Hospital. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on March 27, 1962, to Everett Layman and Katherine Sanders Layman who preceded him in death along with his brother, Alton Layman; sisters, Cassie Massengill, Sherry Lynn Blaylock and Peggy Harrison; infant sister, Nancy Layman.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Ensley Layman; son, Adam Layman; daughter, Kelly Layman; sisters, Linda Brooks, Ethelene Blaylock and Darlene Blair; 6 grandchildren, Kaylin, Logan, Landon and Maci Layman, Shealin and Caleb Bailey several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.
Visitation: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
